To Kill A Mockingbird Was Tom Robinson Innocent
I remember reading To Kill a Mockingbird (Lee, 1988) in high school, but reading the story as an adult certainly changed my thoughts about the novel. I believe that Boo Radley, Tom Robinson, and Atticus were all mockingbirds.
Boo Radley watched from the privacy of his house, and saw the destruction that had taken place within the community. Boo interacted with Scout and Jem in such a way to remain anonymous for years, and he protected their life without asking for anything in return. Earlier in Boo’s life, he was mischievous and was accused of more wrongdoing than he was guilty of at times; therefore, I believe that he was a mockingbird.

    Boo Radley is one of the most important characters in the story. “Hey Boo,” (Lee, 362). This is the first chapter where you actually meet Boo.
