Scout’s Social Blunders As we mature, we learn how to manage situations with the best approach; unfortunately for Scout however, having a great deal of social mishaps, will have a lot of learning and correcting to do. Scout is, altogether, a rather tranquil adolescent but, when she fails to come to terms with another, she tends to settle the dispute aggressively. There have been several incidents in which Scout had difficulty in handling, resulting in destructive and vulgar tendencies. Hopefully, Scout will progressively continue to learn how to humbly settle disputes. This aggressive manor is not a commendable feature in Scout, as she should choose alternative methods to adjudicate brawls, in which require no physical or vulgar aggression. Scout goes through a number of social blunders at school in which could have had a better approach. One example is when she got into a quarrel with Ms. Caroline after she claimed that Atticus had been teaching her wrong and that he should discontinue. This was not a major incident but Scout could have prevented arguing with the teacher by simply following her commands. Another mishap that occurs at school was when she got into a fight with Walter
When Scout gets into a fistfight, or an argument, it is usually caused by suggestions that she does not agree with. When this happens, Scout should simply keep her mouth closed so it does not cause more problems, or think about the problem and use her intelligence to outsmart it. Scout should never have to result in violence, or vulgarity, but that is who she is as a character who wants to stand up for herself. Scout will go through many disputes in which she will have to really think about her actions in approaching the matter, while at the moment, she is learning how to handle them better, and she will continue in progressing in that
