The First Man of the Democracy and Republic Government Thomas Jefferson was the first third president of America but the first to be a Democratic-Republican. When inaugurated in office, he was fifty-eight years old. He was the first president to be inaugurated in Washington. Jefferson was known to be secretive, casual towards people as president, quiet, a master manipulator, a brilliant politician, and sensitive.
