Well slavery is a when a person is owned by someone else with rights and freedom taken away from thus person. Throughout the history of mankind slavery has been a widespread practice. There are different forms of slavery such as: chattel slavery, forced labor, there is also bond labor and human trafficking. Starting of with chattel slavery the most notorious type of slavery in ancient times; where slaves were bought and sold like goods. Then there is forced labor and this type of slavery is practiced till this day, this is where by the slave is forced to work against his/her will and vicious, cold- hearted violence is a part of their life. The types of slavery that is practiced the most these days is bond labor when people are working to pay off a debt and payment is unclear. Then we all are familiar with the growing issue of human trafficking were children, women and even men are being exploited to work against their will and being abused in all aspects. John Locke he conveys the freedom that everyone should have as long as they stand by the rule of the society. In fact, slaves may have not had faults, but their freedom was still taken away. Locke believed slavery was punishment for those who did a crime that was of the death penalty in his eyes anyone that did such thing should become a slave. The second theory of slavery that I researched on is the Aristole's theory of slavery. Have you ever asked yourself is slavery is conventional or natural? This theory brings up that question; his theory states that some people are naturally masters while others are naturally slaves. His theory is proposes that anyone is ruled must be a slave, I definitively don't see that as right, he goes on to say that the characteristics of a person
