The Tragedy Of Romeo And Juliet

There are many people that contributed to the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, but there is one more responsible than most. In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the Montagues and the Capulets hate each other. Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet instantly fall in love after meeting at a ball. Romeo gets Friar Laurence to marry them the next day without the knowledge of their families. As the story goes on Romeo and Juliet don’t see each other very often due to fear of getting caught. There is lots of miscommunication, and because of it, Romeo and Juliet both kill themselves at the end of the play. Friar Laurence is the character most to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet because he agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet a day after they met, he came up with the plan of faking Juliet’s death and gave her the sleeping potion to drink, and he gave the message describing his plan to someone else to deliver to Romeo.
