R.M.S Titanic took a blow by a giant iceberg that was later found to be the central idea of the Titanic becoming a sad and famous story. Rose and Jack go down with the ship and Jack help her onto a door that can hold the weight of Rose. While Jack is in the freezing water, they both exchange loving words, and with a Jack dies of hypothermia. Once aboard the the little boat called the Carpathia, Rose made up a name as Rose Dawson. For Instance, Roses ex-fiance Caledon 'Cal' Hockley(Billy Zane) was devastated over losing Rose to a poor fellow like Jack and so tried to ruin their love for each other. Like almost by the ending of the book Caledon’s assistant or helper have planted a expensive necklace in Jack’s pocket and soon told to Rose. This forcing Rose to believe Caledon and not Jack. After this tragedy Jack was being sent to jail and Rose tricked into believing Caledon making Jack and Rose mad at each other for a while. Another reason why Jack and Rose can’t be together as they planned is because of the damage to the Titanic. The Titanic was sinking and the doomed lovers weren’t able to both float upon the wood because of this Jack thought of letting his True Love live and him to die of the ice cold water.
These reasons were two main conflicts in the story. Like I said Roses ex-fiance and the Titanic is sinking. These reasons are keeping Jack and Rose apart and kept them apart until they were in the freezing water saying their last
