Three witches meet in a heath. They plan when and where they would meet Macbeth to give him a prophecy. On the way back from battle, Macbeth and Banquo go to heath to meet up with the three witches. The prophecies say that Macbeth will be future king. But, they tell Banquo that he is ‘lesser than Macbeth, but also greater.’ Lady Macbeth gets the servants drunk so that they would fall asleep. Then, Macbeth murders his king while Duncan is asleep. Lady Macbeth tries to frame the servants. Macbeth feels guilty. Lady Macbeth receives a letter from her husband that tells her the news and she feels that killing Duncan will make her husband the rightful king. She convinces Macbeth to kill Duncan. After Duncan was found dead Macbeth was made king. After that Macduff flees to try to plan to kill Macbeth. Macbeth goes and talks to the three witches again and they give him three more prophecies. Which were 1. Beware Macduff. 2. Nobody born from a woman will ever harm Macbeth. And 3. Macbeth will never be defeated. By him going to the witches it inclined him to do evil things. If he would have never gone to the witches and had those prophecies told things would have turned out differently. Even if Macbeth still went to the witches and they told him the prophecies he could have chosen not to act on evil things. He could have let it play out instead of killing people to get what he wanted. Because of his selfish desires on wanting to be entitled and have power people died when they didn’t have to.
