Edgar can’t exist crazy,although he feels as nervous as a mouse trying to hide from a cat.His disease made his senses as strong as iron and acute hearing above all didn’t bother him at all,it let him hear things everywhere.Thus, how could he possibly remain mad?.The whole story began in a quaint cottage in the countryside of England,that looked like it almost came out of a fairy tale,when he was taking care of his terribly ailing grand aunt,who was almost the extreme opposite of poor.His grand aunt had never wronged him and he loved the old lady like his mom . One night he gently opened the door ready to do the deed and ever so carefully stuck his head in holding a lantern that showed no light while making sure every move he made was as quiet as a mouse.Then, he shined a single thin ray on her nose,yet he felt a detail as small as a needle in a haystack was off,she was snoring as loud as a bear and he felt it was impossible to do the work.He didn’t care about his grand aunt,for it her nose that drove him crazy.Edgar continued this for 7 nights,and his grand aunt would never suspect that her courteous grand nephew would watch her at 12 while she was sleeping
Suddenly,his grand aunt moved across the bed like she was startled , but he just smirked at this.He steadily pushed on the door and accidentally bumped into a table.His grand aunt snapped out of bed and shrieked,“Show yourself.” He knew it was pitch black,so she wouldn’t be able to see him,yet the old lady was propped on her elbow listening.She had been awake since he had opened the door,her fears breeding and tried to comfort herself,‘‘It’s probably just a rat,’’she said.But,she couldn’t avoid her certain death , and he shined a thin glimmer of light on her nose.Rapidly, her heart started beating and began to grow louder every second , until he thought the heart until he thought her heart might explode. “Thump,thump.’’the heart rapidly beated.For , the beat became as loud as applause after a performance, and so he ran and instantly hauled the body.Quickly,he placed the body under a table and he could still hear the heart beating softly.
