The Reason Of The Respondents For Watching Music Videos
The Reason of the Respondents for Watching Music Videos The two most common reasons on why the respondents watch music videos are to understand the meaning of the song by the artist and for pure entertainment.

Respondent A- Derry (COE)
“Nanunuod ako ng music video first and foremost for entertainment kasi kapag nanunuod ka sa kanila, it's like you are watching a movie, there's a story although meron namang mga music video na talagang walang kwenta or sabihin na nating walang connect doon sa mismong meaning ng kanta.”

(I watched music video, first and foremost for entertainment. If you watch them, it feels like you are watching a movie because there's a story although there are music videos that are non-sense or let's say that has no connection to the meaning of the song itself.)

Respondent C- Bianca (CBDA)
“May mga music kasi na kapag pinakinggan mo maganda na agad so ma-cucurious po ako na paano nila iinterpret visually so makikita ko po sa music video yung meaning nung kanta kasi may mga kanta pong kapag pinakinggan mo mahirap siyang intindihin, di mo magets pero kapag napanuod mo, malalaman mo na about pala yun sa politics, about pala siya sa ganito hindi pala siya about sa love.”

("There are music that if you listen to it, it's already beautiful and I'll be curious if how would they interpret it visually and I'll see the meaning of the song through its music video because there songs that are hard to understand, you cant get it but if you watch it, you'll know that it's about politics, about this and not about love.")

Respondent F- Anthony (CBDA)
“Nanunuod po ako ng music video kasi nakakagaan siya ng feelings.”

("I watched music video because it lightens my feelings.")

Respondent D- David (CAS)
“Nakakatulong kasi siya para mas makita natin yung message ng kanta kasi kung papakinggan lang natin yung kanta hindi natin maiintindihan yung mismong message ng kanta.”

("It helps us to see the message of the song more because if
