The question that most people ask though, is college for everyone? People argue that college is a good fundamental experience that is needed, while others argue it is a big waste of time and money. Leonhardt explains that college is beneficial in the sense that if you to college you are more likely to get paid more, eventually erasing your debt, and still make more money than a high school graduate. While this might be true, Matthews believes the total opposite of this. He exclaims that with the cost of college now sky rocketing, it is not worth the money. He talks about also that a good percentage of college students that graduate make the same amount of money as a high school graduate. Overall with the arguments of Chris Matthews and David Leonhardt, College is great experience that everyone should have. David Leonhardt has the correct mindset that college can benefit anybody. It is something that you cannot put a dollar sign on. It will largely benefit everyone. It will help people figure what they want to do, as well as get them ready for that field of work. I believe that it is good to take the risk and go to college because it will ready a person for the outside world. College has its pros and cons, it is up to you, of what you make out of
