The Pros And Cons Of Animal Captivity
There is much conjecture over whether captivity is good or bad for wild animals. Many people consider it will bring negative impacts for wild animal to live in captivity. Others believe wild animals should be taken captive for both environmental and physical. I faced this controversial essay topic and fell into much contemplation.

Most of wild animals are hunt and maltreat in China, especially Asiatic Black Bear and Pere Davids's deer. After Black Bears are caught, people treat them cruelly and drew out their galls frequently. People cut Black Bear's belly to get the galls and kept their cuts open in order to get the galls easily and incessantly. Moreover, Pere Davids's deer, as a typical Asian deer, was native to marshlands in northeast of China and became extinct in the wild after its habitat was destroyed. Furthermore, after the documentary "Ke Ke Xi Li" was produced, millions of people stunned. Ke Ke Xi Li is a home to many rare species of animals, including Tibetan antelope, yak, wild donkey and so on. There were more than one million Tibetan Antelope in Ke Ke Xi Li before 1985; however, the price of their fine wool rose with demand for pashmina shawls. Poachers swarmed to the wilderness and the number of Tibetan Antelope was slashed to less that 20,000 in just a few years. In this case, keeping wild animal's feral behaviour and ecological balance seems so absurd or at least it becomes trivial compared with animal's life. Since it is hazard for wild animals live in the wild in China, it's wise for us to help them live in

Zoos are like internment camps and should be shut down. Animals deserve the right to live out their lives in their natural habitat, not be the source of human entertainment. Zoos are more detrimental to animals than they are good for them, even though there are conservation efforts and educational purposes for having animals in captivity. The negative aspects far outweigh any positive effects when it comes to having animals in captivity due to poor living conditions, failure to educate, and psychological trauma.…

For many years people have debated whether zoos are bad or good. There is the debate about animal cruelty to some extent because the animals are locked up in a cage where they have no freedom. And the other one is how animals in captivity is a good cause due to the dangers that are present in the wild now in days. These two points are an endless debate in which both sides are equivalent to each other.
