In this paper I will discuss the difference between an autobiography and biography. I will discuss the reason why I think an autobiography and biography mixed together is better in most cases than a biography or autobiography. I believe too many people are stuck in the world of just using an autobiography or just using a biography as their source for history. I think it is important to combine the two. Although Anne Frank at first did not intend to use her diaries for historical events or sharing her diary with anyone, as she matured and found out that people wanted diaries of people who were in hiding she changed her mind and decided to start writing for an audience.
