The Perfect Shot Book Report

The Perfect shot is a book written by Elaine Marie Alphin. The setting of the book takes place in a small town in Indiana called Willisburg. The setting impacts the plot because Brian has a friend named julius which is one of the only black kids in town gets pulled over by the cops for making a wrong turn and he he did not receive a ticket the police officer took him to jail and this event changes juluis very much. The point of view of the book is first person because Brian is the one who is telling the story. The theme of the book is not to judge someone by their race.

Brian Hammett is a eighteen year old senior in highschool he plays basketball for his high school and he is the captain of the team and he also plays point guard on the team he is a round
And when he hears the gun drop he tries to dive after it and when he gets the gun the man pulls out another gun and brian shots at him and miss and the burglar misses his shot also so brian gets closer and they both shot and they both hit each other brian shot kills him and the burglar wounds brian.

I chose the book The perfect shot because i wanted to try something new i never really read mysteries book and i seen this one in the library and i was about sports which is my favorite books to read when i have to read. I really liked the book and i exceeded my expectations.
I would recommend this to people who like sports book because it has a lot of parts where there are games being played and if you like mystery to this is the book to read because you don't know who the killer is i was a fun book to read and everyone should
