The iPod Touch
The iPod Touch is a portable media player, personal digital assistant, handheld game console, and Wi-Fi mobile device designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It is the first iPod with wireless access to the iTunes Store, and also has access to Apple's App Store, enabling content to be purchased and downloaded directly on the device. It is ultrathin and colorful, plays music and video, rules games and apps, makes video calls, takes amazing photos, and shoots HD video. When we have to talk about features we should make a stop and say that iPod Touch is the best device in its class – if you are capable to find another device like this. Moreover, iPod Touch features are very fresh, sophisticated and advance, and I think its price is very fair. The iPod touch’s features are WiFi capabilities (802.11b/g/n), Safari Web browser, Audio, Video and Photo storage, Youtube video player, Calendar and Contacts, Clock and Calculator Applications, more than 250,000 apps, Dock and headphone connections. Apple Inc. is the market leader in portable music players by a significant margin, with more than 220 million units shipped as of September 2009.

There are options in terms of capacity, model and price. The iPod Touch 16GB (4th generation) costs $199 and the 32GB (4th generation) costs $249.

The iPod Touch is distributed internationally. The Apple Store is a chain of retail stores owned and operated by Apple Inc. that sells Apple products specifically iPods, iPhones, iPods and software. There are 394 Apple Stores in 14 countries around the world. As of March 2011, Apple has sold over 60 million iPod Touch units.

iPod Touch adverts increasingly move to promote the computing, gaming and internet purposes of the product with background music often being the only reminder its a music player too.

The first generation iPod was one of the first mobile devices that a consumer could carry around comfortably. Before this, the bulky, disc-shaped Sony Walkmen dominated the market, requiring the user to have to go out of his way to purchase a CD and needing to change the CD in the event that he wanted to listen to a different album. Like changing a lens on a DSLR camera, it was impractical and time consuming. Therefore, Steve Jobs created the iPod, a mini personal computer that could hold music on a small device that allowed the user to switch from song to song easily, reducing the weight of the music kit and the time needed to change the song. The iPod also paved the path for the future of all mobile downloading through the creation of iTunes, a service still widely used today. The first generation iPhone was, perhaps, the most revolutionary piece of technology of the 2000s, bringing to the table a microprocessor, a touch screen, an iPod, a camera, a television, a telephone, a web browser, and a calculator all in a singular package. Before this phone, other phones used a trackpad or a stylus as means of interacting with the device. Consequently, losing or breaking the tool resulted in a useless piece of technology, in addition it the bulk of having to carry around another pen only for a phone. Steve Jobs aimed to ameliorate the situation by using a…

One of Apple’s products, the iPod, goes way back in the 1970s. Kane Kramer, a British inventor, came up with the idea of a portable music player in 1979. But it wasn’t till 2000 when the iPod team at Apple started designing and creating the actual iPod. The iPod is a portable music player that allows you to listen to thousands of songs on the go. The iPod has now developed to an iPod touch where you can still listen to music, but you can also download many different apps and games. The original iPod was launched in October of 2001. From there, Apple has created various types of iPods such as the iPod Classic, Mini, Shuffle, Nano, and now the Touch. Another one of Apple’s products is the iPhone. The iPhone concept came up in 2000 by John Casey, and Apple worker. He first called it the Telipod, which was a combination of an iPod and a telephone together. A year later Steve Jobs, the co-founder, chairman, and former chief executive officer of Apple, and Jonathan Ive, the Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple, and the Apple team started creating the iPhone. The iPhone is a touch screen phone with many features and downloadable music, apps and games. The original iPhone was released in June of 2007. Since then, Apple has produced three more models of the iPhone, such as the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and the latest one, the iPhone 4. One of Apple’s latest inventions is the iPad. It was designed and created by Steve Jobs and the Apple team. The iPad is similar to a tablet. It is a touch screen computer with different features and downloadable apps and games. It is lightweight so it is…
