Child abuse is a growing issue. It has become a serious problem towards children and family structure. The result of abuse is because many of children who suffer from abuse end up with long term effects that lead into their adult life. Physical abuse involving children is the most common abuse and the most noticeable to see if it is going on. The State of Arizona should keep child abuse under control by obtaining a better protection system and narrowing down to the abuse that impacts a child the most.

On the other hand, spanking should be considered punishable by the law because a child should never be hit for doing something wrong. As stated in a law for the State of Arizona, “ A parent or guardian or other person entrusted with the care and supervision of a minor or incompetent person may use reasonable and appropriate physical force upon the minor or incompetent person when and to the extent reasonably necessary and appropriate to maintain discipline (Spanking Laws).” Several parents of today would disagree with this reason to not spank their kid.
