The impact of Nutrition in college women
For every individual attending college is an accomplishment and addition task to fulfill in their lives. You are given the opportunity to work towards a degree of interest in the real world. For the individuals that are living on campus have the opportunity to express freedom and self-deliverance in their life. From ages new birth to eighteen the decision and choices were made for them by parents or authority figures. Adults have the final choice of the school the child attends, upbringing, and nutrition intake. Parents were always told to give their child a proper meal three times a day on a weekly basis.
Now that the decision on food has changed the proper eating methods for teens have changed. These individuals fall into two groups. The first group is the individuals who eat healthily and maintain a healthy lifestyle due to miscellaneous events or sports. Or, they are unaware of their intake and become overwhelmed by the choices and secondary sources them supply.

This system is used to measure your projected weight and height into a selected number and determines the category you fall in. Within the first year of college, many of the college freshman women are overeating due to lack of portioning and daily intake. When freshman college students arrive they take note of the various options for food that is given to them. The moment they walk up the service is a buffet style eatery. In simple term, you have the capability of eating as much you like and as often are your meal plan allows.     A journal article I found through the Florida Atlantic University Library website displays information on an observation of college freshman willingness to learn nutritional information. John Todorovich and his colleagues created a nutrition course module program for incoming college students with poor eating habits. Following the nutrition course, five major themes emerged showing how useful the course was after all. The first theme Todorovich noted was the acquisition of knowledge on topics like portion sizes, different food groups, how to choose healthier snack items, and how to prepare small yet healthy meals for oneself. The study indicated that mostly all students involved learned a significant amount of nutrition information. The second theme of the study was the behavior change of the students involved. Most students vowed to change their poor eating habits, except for a handful of stubborn male students who stated they would be reluctant to change their eating habits unless is was absolutely necessary. On the brighter side, the vast majority of students agreed to start preparing more healthy meals for themselves as opposed to fast food, and to eliminate soft drinks like soda from their diet.
