The term “Birth Tourism “can be defined as traveling to another country for the purpose of giving birth in that country. According to the data from 2014 American community survey (ACS) the immigrant’s rate in United States increased by 2.4 million since 2010.In addition to immigrants, there were 16.2 million US born minor children which indicates around 17 million of immigrants are granted US citizenship according to 14th Amendment. Specially, people from the poor country, seeking economy oppernoties enters United States are found to have citizenship by birth of soil. The negative impact of birth tourism can be considered as low rate of wages, high medical expenses and different illegal organization formed behind the walls that encourage the illegal immigrants.
