From 1992 to 1995 one of the largest massacres in the world took place, the Bosnian War. It was an international conflict that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to Sandro Krkljes, it was said to have killed around 100,000 people. Most of these people were Muslims. They were either killed, raped or sent to concentration camps. "For those who were not killed in the initial massacre, many were sent to one of 381 concentration or detention camps in Bosnia."
