The Effect of Deforestation on the Climate and Environment
In recent times, many developing countries such as Indonesia and Brazil do more logging than before that people believe developing countries need more income. However, other people think logging in the native forests should be banned that can protect wild animals and their natural habitat, and also can reduce global warming. In this essay, I will support the latter idea.
Banned logging in native forests has some disadvantages. Firstly, it will decrease economy, and also will decrease the income of some timber industry, maybe some people will lose their job because of this. Secondly, people need more trees to make furnitures and some musical instruments, if government banned logging, furnitures’ prices will increase, and people don’ t have enough money to buy it. Thirdly, people have to leave more resources to their future generation, otherwise future generation will not have enough resources to living.
Conversely, the benefits of banned logging can be perceived in many aspects. To begin with, if people don’t logging forests anymore, forests can absorb carbon dioxide, not release that. Through that, people can reduce global warming. Furthermore, those wild animals still can live in their own natural habitat that make them alive. Oppositely, if people carry on logging forests, some wild animals will die because they don’ t have a comfortable environment to live, and it also will break the natural balance and part of food chain. Moreover, cut so much trees down will cause desert, if formed the desert, no lives and plants can survive.
In conclusion, i think i agree the latter idea. Because it can protect native animals as well as to reduce global warming.
