In 1993 in Central Puerto Rico there was a huge hurricane with a magnitude of 4.7. There was also a earthquake with a magnitude of 8. The hurricane was named was named Hurricane Ching. The earthquake was called Chong. Ching was the biggest hurricane to ever hit Puerto Rico. It blew over houses, destroyed land, and flooded everything. Chong was the fourth biggest earth quake to hit Puerto Rico. There was a family hit by both disasters. There was a total of nine people in the Wang family.
