Proposed Title: Records Management and Information System for Stream Global Services

Area of Investigation:

Stream Global Services was originally formed more than 15 years ago as an outgrowth service for a large software reseller, Stream is now a global provider of sales, customer service and technical support for the Fortune 1000. Since its inception, Stream's global footprint has expanded to cover 22 countries, with more than 30,000 employees in 50 service centers. Stream currently manages millions of voice, email and chat contacts each year from customers around the globe. In 2008, Global BPO Services announced a merger with Stream Holdings Corporation and subsequently changed the name of the company to Stream Global Services. Many of the former Stream management then returned to the company, and together went on to achieve many milestones, including the 2009 merger with eTelecare Global Solutions. The combination of Stream Global Services and eTelecare brought together two strong forces in the industry, creating an unparalleled BPO services organization with world-class services for our valued clients. Today's Stream Global Services maintains a global presence across North America, Europe, the Philippines, India, Latin America, Middle East and Africa.

Project Description:

The proponents will create a website for the IT Department of Stream Global Services using PHP as the programming language. The “Records Management and Information System” includes the following, first is the Hardware Troubleshooting, this will allow the user to view the instructions and guidelines on how to troubleshoot hardware. Second is the Computer Maintenance, this will provide a step by step instructions on how to maintain the computer using the Check Disk, Delprof, Defragmentation, Windows Update and Manual scan.
