The United States of America is a place where one can have the possibility to achieve the typical “American Dream”, a family of four, a two-story home, and a white picket fence with a lush green lawn. Although America may be known as the land of the free, there are no free handouts for this particular success. Today, in order to achieve the “American Dream”, higher education is the key to that success. Education after high school is more than necessary in order to harness what most from other countries desire, the opportunity to be successful no matter what class, caste, religion, race, or ethnicity one may be. Students are given an opportunity to live and enjoy the American dream through higher educational institutions
Instead, there should be more emphasis put on to students during high school towards their attendance of a four or two year university.
