There are many instances where a guy will go above and beyond how he normally would act to impress someone, especially a woman. An example of this from the film was when Patrick had to stop smoking and go to the club that Kat really liked to get her attention and impress her. Also, guys will almost always get anything they want if they can set their mind to it. This can be seen through Cameron’s pursuit of acquiring Bianca’s attention and love. Also, teamwork is key in a lot of things, seen very much throughout the film. Between Kat helping Patrick bust out of detention, or the guys all teaming up to date the women, there are many examples of teamwork present in both. I am unsure if in another 500 years that Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew will be relevant or not. I think there will be quite a bit of things different between now and the future, (say living on Mars) but I think some of Shakespeare’s more well-known work will be remembered and more relevant than Taming of the Shrew. I think plays like Romeo and Juliet and maybe even MacBeth will have a bigger impact on our society’s future than Taming of the Shrew
