Teen Activists Research Paper

Malala also started because she wanted to fix the problem of girls not being allowed to go to school. Even though she was shot, she was so determined that she kept on going and wanted to try to still fix the problem. Malala describes by saying, “All I want is education, and I am not afraid of no one.” Alex Lin is a great example of this thesis because he wanted to reduce the amount of E-waste on our earth. He was determined to do the most he could do to try and reduce and teach how to save our planet from E-waste. Lastly, Alex Libby wanted to solve the biggest problem in our world, bullying. He stood up to all bullies and made a documentary to show how much of a problem bullying is. Some teen activists just want to fix a problem in our world and make our world a better

This stereotype can be seen in films similar to Mean Girls, Clueless, and The Pacifier. Unfortunately for Hollywood, girls are more complex than this and can’t always fit into this stereotype. Teenaged girls like Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist fighting for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize winner, have no time to fit into Hollywood’s teen girl image. Many movies depict teenaged girls as addicts to texting, tweeting and drama. Hollywood even makes entire films on how social media can create a negative atmosphere and takes over girls’ lives according…
