In a world where science and technology is the sole purpose of human’s existence is something we would not like to contemplate. Throughout the centuries that humans had existed, we had advanced from fashioning simple tools out of stones and marbles to today, where we had attained a feating technological advancements that what seems like an eternity to build a living space for all previously in the past would take only a few weeks now.
One of the greatest theoretical physicist during the modern age is Albert Einstein. He highlighted a particular point which goes like this, “I fear the day where technology will surpass human’s interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots”. There is no doubt that technology had increased the productivity rate of human beings using the least effort. However that being said, with the increased productivity rate, what would happen between the interaction of humans? Well, most likely, we would not be communicating with each other or even greet one another in the near future as the main priority of our existence is to be of something useful to the society. Thus futile actions such as greeting each other would cease to happen.

“We have too many cell phones. We’ve got too many internets. We have got to get rid of those machines.” Ray Bradbury was a man of science, but also of writing. Which is why it puzzles me that he thinks technology is going to decrease social interaction among humans, I think he was wrong. In Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, he shows us how technology and censorship can ruin a society. I agree with him to a point, but we also differ in opinions. Although he predicted our future fairly correctly, I think he got this part wrong. With modern day technology we are closer than ever, we are connected 24/7 and can always get in touch. Technology gives us the ability to stay connected at all times, save lives, and educate new generations more completely. From any aspect you can clearly see that social interaction…

Humans now have the capability of living longer than ever due to recent technological advancements, along with medicinal research. However, the ultimate price paid for these advancements is the dissociation of one’s own spirituality. Our ways of connecting and reasoning with nature and spirituality has immensely changed. Joseph Campbell, author of The Power of Myth, says “But when you think what people are actually undergoing in our civilization, you realize it’s a very grim thing to be a modern human being.” In its face value, Campbell might have been bitterly analyzing humans and conditions in which many people around the world live in.…

Over the last century there were wired telephones that started out the size of a college algebra book.
