Technology dependency
In current times people are becoming lazy and dependent due to the advancement in technology in education, business, and social entertainment. Almost everything we do and every aspect of our life is affected by modern technology with computers at the top. This issue interests me because even though we have the luxury of computers to help us, it seems that it causes us to be lazy human beings. For example, googling things rather than going to the library and picking out books. Emailing is a big; no one really sends letters anymore. Also Facebook and twitter have ruined the social interaction their once use to be. This issue affects everyone in many ways. Computers are even taking the jobs on some citizens because they can do it more efficiently and won’t cost the company as much. It also effects parents and their children relationships, the home is quite because the children much rather text their parents then actually have a face to face conversation. On the other hand technology has allowed us to do things more rapidly and with less hassle technology has gotten out of hand and needs to be controlled.
Google for example caters to all our needs of information. Google has become the primary research tool for us Americans and is making us lazy individuals. In the past citizens were forced to go to the library and actually look for their information rather than having it at their fingertips. Now days it’s unusual to see someone with a library card. This luxury of having everything within minutes researching can be a problem in the future. Citizens are becoming lazier with the innovation of the updated technology that it can cause a real downfall in the academic intelligence of future citizens. Also when people are feeling sick they rely on Google to give them their diagnoses and that is never okay.
