The first solution is parents must partially abstain children from technology by limiting children’s screen time according to American Academy of Pediatrics. The reason is that children don’t need technology to learn just as how current icon don’t need technology to bring them to where they are now. Furthermore, even Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple does not fancy his children playing technology. In fact, when iPad first came out, he banned his children from using them. He has an orthodox functional family that have their dinner table talk. He leads by example to all the tech-savvy and ordinary people out there. The pros of this solution is that we can see the fruition of this solution as children without technology are still becoming the future leader. The con is that technology is evolving and it is unsure whether there is life without technology in the future. The solution will work for the time being before technology controls every aspect of our life.…

During lunch, my friends always have their iPod or smart phone out. While I was in cultural geography, when we were doing our competency a girl besides me said, "Mr.Lee is there any website on the computer that isn't blocked, so that I could listen to music because my iPod runs out of battery quickly if I listen to music." I know that for some people listening to music helps them, but when I heard this question I thought, "Are you serious?" Also every time I check Facebook (which is rare) there's always the same 8 people posting often and is almost always on. I don't think using these new technological advancements is always a good thing. The worst aspect of many teens today is that they are too obsessed with technology. Although technology provides an easier way to communicate and gives instant-gratification, technology has negatively influenced teenager's social interactions because it removes them from reality, hinders our…

The internet is a great and expansive place, and that is why sometimes students rather explore it then listen to their teachers. All these sites and apps are taking up the attention of students throughout the world. This is shown in a Canadian study which proves that computers are helping lower the users grade and his or hers classmates as well. The experiment showed that students who were using computers during the lecture had lower grades than those who were using pen and paper. The worst part is that students around the computer user were also affected and they too had lower grades. A professor at NYU said that “screens generate distraction in a manner akin to second-hand smoke.” He teaches Media Studies and was an advocate for the use of technology during class.
