As data gathering devices, tests are among a valuable instruments of instructive research. Testing tells what level of knowledge or skill has been acquired to most exploratory studies in education. The instruments have been intended to depict and measure test of parts of human progress. These tests survey assortment of human abilities, possibilities, and accomplishments. They have different degrees of legitimacy unwavering quality and appropriateness. In this way, a test is a way that measure subjects after finishing a cognitive task by reacting to a standard arrangement of questions. There are several types of tests. Standardized tests for a particular group of students in the same grade or the same age will take the same test that will be scored and analyzed the same way like official exams. Teacher-made tests are considered effective when they are implemented as part of the education process. It is recommended that they include visual and auditory tasks, have varying levels of difficulty and offer easy-to-follow instructions. Types of testing can help teachers reach their goals. A teacher-made test should enable students to demonstrate what they already know and are capable of. That teachers can tailor their lessons to the needs of their class. Objective test depends on students' knowledge. It is a valid test which student's need a short time to answer than subjective test, the techniques used in objective tests multiple – choice items, true / false items, matching items, transformation sentences, re-arrangement items and fill the blanks or gap filling. Furthermore, objective test requires more careful preparations than other types of test. It needs much time and effort to write the questions because the examiner has to provide the answers as well as the question that.
