Tea Tree Oil Research Paper
Tea tree oil is obtained from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia by steam distilling them. The plant mentioned here is a native to Australia.

Due to one of its important constituents which is called terpinen-4-ol, tea tree oil is especially useful in the cure of acne. With this constituent, the tea tree oil becomes anti-bacterial in nature and can destroy Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria which lives on human skin and causes acne.

The additional benefit of using tea tree oil is its very few side effects, especially far less than the benzoyl peroxide which causes a lot of burning, dryness, itching and stinging on your skin.

After that the skin must be patted dry with a towel. Once that is achieved, the next step is to wash our hands before applying anything else on our face and other acne infected areas. But remember, it's better to take your doctor's advice before applying it.

You may not apply the solution excessively. You may be thinking that the more use it, the faster they will be able to see the result. But that is a mistake. Do not try to do that. It will only worsen your acne condition and increase side effects, if any.
