Swot Analysis Of Kellogg's
Kellogg’s is an international food manufacturing company based in the United States. The types of food manufactured are cereal and convenience food such as waffles, granola bar, pastries and many more. Kellogg’s has many different brands including Froot Loops, Pop-tarts, Special K, Rice Krispies and many more. The Special K cereal bar comes under the brand Special K. Special K is brand for women who want to lose weight in a healthy, fast and in a fit way.
Kellogg’s provide to any age, both female and male that wants nutritious and yet tasty meals especially breakfast in a fast and convenient way. However, Special K targets women from the age of 25 to 45 about the ages where women are either busy mom’s or workingwomen with disposable income who wants to lose weight. The target market is usually women who are educated that wants the best nutrition for themselves. Many of the ingredients in the Special K products are more beneficial for women than men such as iron and calcium. However it is not available in convenient stores like Seven Eleven or at gas stations. The stores that sell Special K cereal bars in Malaysia are Jaya Grocers, Cold Storage, Jusco, and many more. The distribution of any of the Special K product line is restricted to only major grocery stores. Any of the Kellogg’s products including the Special K cereal bars are mainly placed on the eye level shelf. This is done purposely and conveniently done so that the consumers do not have to bend down or stretch to reach for it. It also allows the consumers to swiftly look for the desired product.
