In the alps region, lay a ranging environment of various plant and animal life. The region is primarily cold with temperatures ranging from -7 degrees celsius to 8 degrees celsius. The tree scaped environment allowed the natives to use the abundance to their advantage, and created a style what is know known today as Swiss Chalet. Chalet is first seen to be used in 1328 to describe simple log cabin. Though, these simple log cabins were used for only a couple of months of the year during extreme weather. The use of white is minimal but is primarily based upon the bathtub and sink areas. The overall feel is greatly comforting due to the darker tones that are personally pleasuring.
