Suspense In Lord Of The Flies
In William Golding's "Lord Of The Flies", there are many frightening moments that cause drama and suspense. Such as, throughout the book when all the kids live on their own with no parents. They are all young in age, there is no help anywhere near by, they need to build shelters in order to live. There is no way off of this island unless a boat notices them, there are no hospitals in case of an injury, and there is limited supply of food and water. Also, they have no contact with anyone, and they could end up losing there lives in this situation. Secondly, on page 47 when the littlun with the mark on his face goes missing. Piggy says, "The littlun with the mark on his face, where is he now? I tell you I don't see him. Beneath them on the unfriendly
