I believe there are no shortcuts to any place worth going. Most of my stories relate to working out, as I spend a great amount of time doing just that. This particular story all started on June third, right when summer workouts started. I walked into the gym and began my pre-workout stretch. I continued to repeat this same routine throughout the summer mornings: pre-workout stretch, workout, cross country practice, post-workout stretch. It was a never-ending cycle that I fell in love with. Until one particular day that I just collapsed. I didn’t feel as though I was getting stronger and my mindset seemed to drift off to other things I would rather be doing.
