The story “A Good Man is Hard to Find,” written by Flannery O’Conner is a suspenseful short story that tells the tale of a family vacation gone wrong. Essentially, the grandma in the story leads the family off track to visit a plantation home that she believed existed in the area they were in. Unfortunately, the home was located in another state and her false recollections landed the family in a deathly situation with a run-away convict.
