Small Business Idea If I were to start up a small business, I would choose a Subscription box business. Precisely a beauty subscription box. Subscription box is a monthly subscription delivery service; weather it is monthly or every month. They come in a vary of themes and specific ideas including products from a variety of brands. Most subscription boxes come in a very affordable price varying from $10 - $50 and the products inside are almost mostly worth over $90 all together when added up. Examples of subscription boxes are; makeup, clothing, and food which are the most popular. I think subscription boxes itself are an upcoming big thing that will be a a part of the everyday United States everyday market system. There is a lot of competition …show more content…
You have to target a market for your idea and learn how to solve the difficulties/problems that will go wrong during the process and over in the future of the business. A concrete business plan comes next in which you make a layout of your business. Company description, structure of the company, market analysis, business and marketing strategies, and projections. For subscription box business resources are very much needed along with sponsors to help launch the box. Many different products from different companies are used in these beauty boxes, weather the company is willing to give a sample size or a full size. Launching the business through social media is always a good idea. Majority of the audience whose attention your business will want to attract uses social media. The word goes around pretty quick, and social media also has sponsoring options on their sites as well. Keeping track of your business and every move of the steps you take forward in your business will help you stay up to date with what is going on around your business. Having investors in your company can help for an amount of time till you get your business running and going where you are stable enough to handle your business financially. Opening a credit card to fund your business basic needs will help and save some trouble, but it does get tricky when it comes to paying off your bills. Having a set goal on how much you think you will spend on your account monthly will help and you can track those payments for the first couple months of your business so that you get used to the process and according to that set a percentage of what you will pay off of that monthly bill. That way your credit score will go up and you won’t go into debt. Always keep track of your credit card payments, because if not used responsibly there will be a lot of consequences and it will mostly affect your business. Getting a small bank loan can help fund your business. When having an idea to start a business and you know that is a commitment you would like to make, set up a savings for the business prior years to it so that when building the business you have funds of your own you can afford to invest. As for a subscription box business, set up a campaign that can help you raise money through the people/market you are targeting specifically for your business. Campaigning will attract the crowd to a new upcoming idea/s for a new market category. Don’t hesitate

If I could start a business I would start a lawn care and services business because I enjoy gardening, working outside. With a lawn care service it is a stable and a repeat business, for the customer that do not have time or just do not want to do there on lawn. For those customers from late spring the early Fall they will need their lawns mowed once a week, making for a stable business. There will be some challenge in starting this business, lawn care has many competitors. Just by doing a web search for lawn care services there were multiple pages some are well known and others are may you of one or two persons. Then there is the expenses of starting up, equipment and a way transport the equipment insurance on vehicles, equipment and employees. Also insurance that would cover damages that may occur during your services. During the startup customer base may be low, because people do not know the company. The strategies for overcoming these challenges would be to start with a good business plan, with doing this I would ask for help from people successful in business. There are many websites one of them is SBA.GOV which is the U.S. Small Business Administration. As for obtaining a customer base, advertisement with the use of social media and creating a website, use Craigslist attend lawn and garden show and pass out flyers and business card, make use of Groupon. Based on the business plan if it would be a good idea to purchasing an existing business, this could provide both customer base and equipment. Also for the customer base I would place bids on city property that had to be taken care of and contact with other small business owners. The desired outcome of this would be to provide a service that is needed and own a business that is well known and respected. That the business would grow from a small to a medium size company and never lose site customer relationships and customer satisfaction.…

First off you should consider "Is there really a need for your new business?"(McNamara, 2002). Market research should first be conducted even at the lowest level. If I drive around my neighborhood and there are already several Mexican food establishments, do I really need to open up a Taco Bell? My wife once had the idea of putting an outdoor mat under the BBQ on our deck to catch all the drippings and such. It worked and she was so pleased until we went to Home Depot the following weekend and there were already several manufactures carrying the same type product!…
