Stress and stress management:
What is stress and how to manage it ?
Stress is defined as a force that tends to strain or deform (b) mental emotional or physical tension, strain or distress-(v) to put emphasis on (c ) to subject to strain or pressure. Stress is a unwanted feeling of emotions and physiological arousal that some experience in certain situations. Stress can mean different things to various people. People have said; “That stress can cause them to feel tension, pressure and negative emotion. With this said, people become depressed have anxiety or elevated heart rates. Some feel that stress is a everyday experience. Most people feel stress at different times. there are three different types of stress that we experience often. The first type of stress is prolonged the next is unexpected and the final one is unmanageable stress. Research has noted that all people become stress. During my research I found that babies, children ,adult men and women have stress and that they can have the same types of stressors but deal with them in different ways. How you can manage your stress is very significant to your body , mind and health. Some say that they are good and bad stresses. The best ways to know what is healthy and bad for you is knowing the signs of stress and how to deal with each one. Studies has shown that the best and most efficient way to reduce stress is excising daily along with mediation and other techniques. In my research I will be addressing various questions on stress and how to manage it in your life and how to help others.

What is stress?
Stress is a term in psychology and biology, first coined in the 1930, which has in more recent cades become a common place of popular parlance.(psychology encyclopedia ). Stress can become an everyday factor in our lives. Stress can help or cause serious problems to the individual and their families. There are six causes of stress. Job stress , school , financial and relationships. I believe that the number one cause of stress is job related stress. You stress if you don’t have a job or the job you have because of the long hours not getting along with your co-workers or not feeling appreciated for what you do at your place of employment. Now that over 7.2 % of the population for the people in New Jersey are unemployed. The second stressor is school stress it affects adolescences and college bond students. The stress of becoming motivated to achieve the goal that was set fourth. For example, students like myself have stresses daily with dealing with family life and school cn become overwhelming at times. The next is financial stress which is connected to the first two stressors. Money can cause a lot of issues and conflict in your life. The final cause is relationships stress. The people that we love and care for can be our biggest inspirations and also can be our biggest stressor. I believe that it’s actually more difficult to or deal with a relationships causing stress because it’s your love ones. It’s a bitter sweet emotions for all that is affected by it.

What stress can do to you?
Stress can have a positive and negative affect on you and everything you do. It can signal dangerous warning signs to take defensive and aggressive actions. Psychologist notes that stress is a process that involves interpretation and response threatening event or situation. It can cause some individuals to have elevated heart rate, depression and anxiety. Elevated heart rate from stress can be caused by fears. Some examples, of this is snakes , illness , fears of heights and animals. Most serve forms of stress is dramatic or life threaten events that you had or seen from youth or as an adult.
