The stock market is a very important variable in the economy. The stock market is where shares or stock are issued and traded either through exchanges or over-the-counter markets. It is also known as the equity market, it is one of the most vital areas of a market economy as it provides companies with access to capital and investors with a slice of ownership in the company and the potential of gains based on the company's future performance. The three companies I invested in my stock project were Yahoo, Oracle, and Vanguard 500. At the end of the project, I found out that I had made a 5% return. I was very positive about my results and I believed that I could invest in the market in the real world. The stock market can be looked as a money-maker by some or a robbery. Investments should be made to provide everyone with extra spending money and financial well-being. I would invest in the stock market because I truly believe that I can make a decent profit with the right amount of research and timing.…

With the mood of the country exuberant, the stock market seemed an infallible investment in the future. As more people invested in the stock market, stock prices began to rise. This was first noticeable in 1925. Stock prices then bobbed up and down throughout 1925 and 1926, followed by a strong upward trend in 1927.…

There is a widely shared consensus about the nature of reforms that Pakistan should embark upon. This consists of two components – stabilization and long term structural reforms. Under the first component the economy has to be stabilized with the help of fiscal consolidation, widening of tax net and mobilization of domestic resources, cutting down the losses of state owned corporations, curtailing wasteful development expenditure and assigning priority to removing supply-side bottlenecks such as energy and infrastructure, keeping inflation under control and maintaining exchange rate stability. The second component requires governance reforms in the structure, processes and human resource policies of the Federal , Provincial and Local governments, taxation and tariff reforms, removing microeconomic distortions such as issuing selective Statutory Regulatory Orders (SROs) for specific firms, liberalizing and deregulating goods and factor markets, strengthening regulatory architecture, promoting market competitive forces and building human capital particularly in science and technology.…
