State Board Nursing application
This professional paper discusses steps and or strategies required to successfully apply for and pass the RN NCLEX exam to become a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona. Other topics include a description of the members and their roles as they serve on the Arizona State Board of Nursing; specifically their roles during a regular meeting held on Thursday, July 25, 2013. The meeting has an agenda that is followed because they have a lot to talk about on various levels and subject matter. The meeting is further discussed later in this paper. The application process to become an RN is on top of the agenda items for this paper.
The RN application can be be downloaded off the AZBN.gov website, or a hard-copy packet can be picked up at the Arizona State Board of Nursing (AZBN) office. An online application is found by googling AZBN, then click on the “Applications” link. Scroll half way down the page and download a PDF version of the “RN/LPN Application by Examination”. Then scroll down to “Other Form Downloads” and find a PDF form named “Fingerprint Card Instructions”. Print this as well and be sure to meet all requirements. The actual fingerprint card is specific to the AZBN and must be picked up in person at the AZBN office. The office is centrally located at 4747 North Seventh Street, Suite 200, Phoenix, AZ 85014-3655. A complete application package, including mailing envelopes and instructions can also be picked up at the same time. The packet provides a list of qualified fingerprint agencies that are in the area. This should be done the same day because the process time for fingerprint card clearance is 4-6 weeks, but once approved; the clearance card is good for 2 years. A second option is the AZBN will mail a finger print clearance card after the application is received by the AZBN office and they find the application correct with exact dollar amounts for the application.
