Star Wars Argumentative Essay
For over 30 years the world has been infatuated with that one galaxy far, far away. A galaxy that somehow always seems to be in turmoil, and yet is a place that we all wouldn't mind living in. Star Wars has been apart of my life from as far back as I can remember. When I was 5-years-old I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I distinctly remember saying that I wanted to be a Jedi Knight, and fly the Millennium Falcon. Not very realistic goals, I know, but it was the truth. Eventually, I did grow up and I had to look for real job, but my fascination and love for Star Wars still remained.

Han Solo (Ford), cross our fingers, and hope for the best. As soon the words, “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”, flashed on the screen I instantly became that 5-year-old kid again. For the next two hours I was on the edge of my seat, in love with everything that I was witnessing.
The Force Awakens is a spectacular film from start to finish. It is the Star Wars film we haven’t seen since we were graced with the original trilogy 30 years ago. It is able to capture back the humor, fun, and magic of the original trilogy that weren’t present in the prequels 10 years ago. All four new cast members (Ridley, Boyega, Isaac, and Driver) give phenomenal performances, and truly bring their characters to life on the big screen.
Many stars took to social media after seeing the film this week. Patton Oswalt, comedian and avid Star Wars fan, just simply tweeted, “JJ did it.” The film has already broke opening weekend records by bringing in a whopping $238 million at the box
