My sponsor has been my "role model" throughout this process, but as I begin my Catholic life St. Elizabeth Ann will be my guide. I chose Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton because for the past 3 years I have been part of her team for my old school St. Joseph. At St. Joseph we have this saint system. When you first enter 6th grade you are put into one of the first 5 American saints teams, and I was chosen into Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton’s, but not only that she is a great catholic that someday I hope to become.…

His feast day is on March 19th.…

To complete my Sacraments of Initiation, I have chosen Saint Cecilia as my patron for Confirmation. Confirmation is a critical stage in my journey of becoming a member of the Catholic church, as well as deepens my Christian commitment. Not only did this name sound beautiful and fit my first and last name nicely, but the individual behind the name captivated me as well. I chose this name because I preferred to be represented by a martyr with such merit and faithfulness to God. As the first Saint to be found incorrupt, St. Cecilia was unique and her frequent praying in spite of the challenges surrounding her is a valuable attribute to admire.…
