Preface
This essay is intended to serve as a guideline for HR managers in schools who are aiming to assist educational leaders as a strategic partner in the process of change to achieve a successful ICT especially Tablet implementation. Several researches have been published about the need for change management and knowledge management skills in this field, but without appropriate “IT awareness” HR managers and educational leaders will not be able to manage the implementation plans and change process needed for successful tablet integration. IT is the primary driver of change today and change impacts people. HR managers don‟t need IT skills all they will need is “Behavioral IT” skills. The knowledge about “Behavioral IT” is used to cover human behavioral issues in IT driven transition, this can also help in managing change and knowledge to overcome the resistance and challenges people will face according to this IT driven change.

Keywords: HR, Tablet integration, school, IT awareness, Behavioral IT, IT driven change. I

The purpose of this reflective paper is to show my understanding along with what I have learned about HRM (human resources management) and the different way HRM impacts the success behind every business, along with the rules and regulations that go with it. I will be including the things I learned throughout the last five weeks in this course, and also let those know what I plan on taking with me in my future career as a manager.…

For this project, our group decided to use EMC Corporation as an example of an organization implementing change. EMC is a multinational company based in Massachusetts USA. Its main function is the manufacturing of systems for information storage. I did my 3rd year work placement in Westborough, Massachusetts about 3 miles from the head quarters in Hopkinton. This was an advantage as I was able to contact members of staff to gain information on ILM and get an insight into the ongoing implementation process.…
