In all the song in the album Kanye’s lyrics have a deeper meaning than what the average music lover can read or listen to. Coldest Winter is actually a depiction of the singer’s relationship with his mother and his fiancee as depicted through the themes of loss, loneliness, and doubt. Kanye’s lyrics first depicts the theme of loss. From the tone of his voice and the melody of the beat, you can tell Kanye is suffering from something. Throughout the song he sings about losing his mom and the deterioration of his relationship with his fiance.
Kanye is missing both his mom and his fiancee.
