Social Work Case Study On Jesus

Jesus is a 39 year old male, nonverbal. He communicates by gestures, pointing, facial expressions and simple words (speaks only a few words); his preferred language is Spanish. He is ambulatory and walks independently; however requires verbal prompts and guidance from staff to get in/out of vehicle and to move around the facility. During the past year he had a total of 5 falls with no serious injuries. He requires staff assistance and prompting for all activities of daily living. He is able to feed himself with staff prompting to decrease intake rate and overfilling mouth. His main concern continue to be his behaviors which include biting, hitting, scratching, yelling, pushing, and grabbing; current approaches to treat his psychiatric symptoms
