Being a social worker is very stressful. You need to enhance many skills in social work which is very hard.

Many of the social workers jobs entail home visits, I found it very stressful, unsafe, and frustrating. Most of the social workers are stressed out and too overworked. I didn’t want to go home visits and out of town if I’m already old. Most social workers intend to find another job because being a social worker is very stressful and unhealthy because they can’t take care of themselves. It is a very exhausting profession. A social worker had a many responsibilities that I can’t manage. So many paper works, programs, home visits etc. Social workers are unappreciated, overworked, and underpaid. It’s a very exhausting profession. Dealing with public is very stressful. I often hear that it’s a charity job and the one who gives foods and needs for the needy. I’m like wtf? Do you even have to learn that? But base on what I read and what I saw being a social worker it’s actually good because you can help and understand the people that surrounds you. It’s a work with so much dignity with so much love. As I read and understand what a truly social work is I am now a proud social work even if I didn’t chose this course or program. I am beginning to enjoy it. I am
