Should the Driving Age Be Raised to 18?
I am sure that we all know that having a driver license is a big compromise to drive safe. Then why do Illinois agree for older kids to get the driver license at the age of 16? Maybe they do it because they have not really focus that all types of crashing accidents teenagers are the more involve than any older people. Alcohol and No Seat belt are the factors more mentioned in all car accidents. For the fallowing reasons, the driving age should be raised to 18, Safety and financial problems will get better.
The first reason should be because financi the driving be raised to 18 years old is because teenagers have more capacity to understand the responsibility of driving. In the United States at the age of 18 teenagers are graduating from High School. It seems that the more mature they are show better judgments while driving rather than expose themselves to injuries. According to the teen driving statistics that are provided by the insurance companies 16-year old are three times more likely to die in a motor vehicle crash than individuals who fall within the range of the average age of all drivers. the second and most important reason is the safety driving, it is very important for us today to drive safe and knowing that all the people out there are thinking the same way, that having a license to drive it is a big responsibility. It can be one way of avoiding many types of accidents. Most of all accidents are caused due to the drinking and driving at the same time. Perhaps, in 2002 there were an estimated 6316000 car accidents in the United States of America. Most of all the horrible accidents were caused by teenagers because of drinking and driving. Most of the drivers forget to use their seat belts after consuming alcohol. Statistics have shown that a 15% of all accident deaths involve the drivers under the age of 21. To be honest I do think that sometimes life leads many teenagers to be mature at their early age. But in driving responsibilities we cannot take
