Should the daily quota of 150 one­way permits issued to mainlanders be maintained? Are you sick of the crowed and lousy street in HongKong? If so, you might want to forus on the follwing information. Each day, there are 150 mainlanders comes to HongKong through the oneway permits system, with no requirement, no limit, 150 people, drop into this modern city. As a result, the education opportunity, public house, medic resoures had been bite off a huge stake by these “New HongKongers”, and they don’t even had to pay a single penny for all these benefit. It’s a situation that should stop right now, while there is a claim that newcomers are bring labour force into our socioty, in fact, these newcomers are not. First of all, HongKong has nearly eight million resident, which is a huge population for a small city like HongKong, Why should we still putting people in a crowed city where the living space were already full. Nowadays, endless increase on price of real estate is just like a shawdow we can’t run away, if this is one of our greatest problem why are we still making this problem unsolvable by adding the demand on real estate. As we all know, demand affect price, higher of demand, higher on price, so reduce or even canceled the one­way permits would be a win­win situation for all of us. On the other hand, the current one­way permits system is control by Chinese government. We don’t know what is the standard of getting the permits, therefore, a lot of the one­way permits had issued to people who can afford the cost of living in HongKong. Everyday, there is people holding the one­way permits comes to HongKong looking for help. It just like you can’t afford an apartment in
