Should Schools Be Allowed To Make School Lunches?
Throughout the course of a school year, a vast majority of the school's lunch is disposed. For the most part, school lunches, sit in the cafeteria without a single touch being acted upon them. As a student, I’ve witnessed the act which has led to me believe that a change should occur. Moreover, I strongly believe that the reason for the large range of food disposal is generally because of the fact that most students lack eating vegetables and would rather consume something more appealing. In addition, I also believe that schools often tend to waste too much money on foods that do satisfy many students. Essentially, schools should focus on making school lunches better in both taste and looks. Nevertheless, Much of the food served in American …show more content…
There are many reasons why students don't eat your food and throw it away in the trash and it's a situation that must be clear as solve. Many schools force their students to get certain foods that they must get. However most of these foods that they are making them get are not good and end up in the trash with the rest of the food. I feel like it is not the food that is always bad, but the way they cook the food that make it taste nasty. However I get that so many people can only do so much food for a whole school. Now imagine an entire cafeteria filled with picky eaters, all with different food preferences. The schools are not going to be able to satisfy every single student therefore many students gets their food and throw it away, because the food does not taste good. Schools should be able to donate food that the students do not eat because at the end of the day the food that is not eaten goes right to the trash.Under federal school meal rules finalized in 201, students must take at least three items and some that they might not like. One example that they must get is one fruit or vegetable and many student do not like to eat that so many would throw it to the trash, but they had no other choice since they were forced …show more content…
I myself have been a victim of throwing my school food to the trash. I have my reason in why I have thrown my trash always and another reason why people throw their food and how we can fix it. I start off my day by eating breakfast at school, however just like lunch not everything they give is good. Therefore I sometimes do not get my breakfast, because what they are giving out I do not like. In addition I might not be the only one there might be other students who did not get their breakfast. Since student did not eat the food that was left over must have to be town in the trash. Other reason why students do not get their breakfast is that they get to school late and when they want to eat the breakfast the does not let, because breakfast time was over and they are not giving it out anymore. Therefore instead of giving the student that one breakfast the school rather town everything away. The same cycle happens when it’s time for lunch. When it’s time to go to lunch I hope to get serve good food that I would not throw away. However it’s not like that all the time in fact for me I really don’t like the food. I have my reasons and my experience in why I do not like to eat all the food that the school gives us to eat. To illustrate there been days that I have gone to lunch and the food I get is not fully cook or I find things inside of it. Furthermore most student do not eat all their food because most of the time they

School campus lunch is disgusting because it is all slobbery and it is not made homemade. It is not even fresh! The food is so bitter from coming from the freezer and when you take a bite, it feels hard like a rock where it just can break your teeth. The food is so bland it does not taste like anything and one time I found a piece of hair on my food that was obviously not mine. The food is so fake to the point where it is not even made properly. The hamburgers are literally deformed. The food is really hot from overheating it and then students burn their mouth which is so painful! School lunch is really intriguing since foreign objects are found. The Summit staff must think we are animals to eat this kind of food.School lunch is a controversial…
