Should Drones Be Used In The Military
Are drones really beneficial for U.S. military use? Imagine you are trying to seek refuge while bombs are going off and massive guns are being shot. You need help from someone, but no one is there to point you in the right direction. Why? Because there are no soldiers, only drones. With technology advancing as quickly as it is, this is something we could be seeing in our future. The reasons drones should not be used in the military is lack of human qualities, violating the sovereignty of other countries, and letting people slowly forget the horrors and violence of war. Since drones are robots and do not have the ability to tell people apart like the human brain can, the drones may end up killing innocent people instead of the one’s who are committing the terrible crimes. The drones probably would end up costing just as much if not more than the soldiers because of maintenance and newer more efficient models. Yes, there are a few pros to drones being used for U.S. military uses, but there are even more cons. (Drones)
In all, drones are not beneficial for U.S. military use because they lack human qualities, violating the sovereignty of other countries, and allowing people to let the horrific memories of war slowly fade away. People need to feel protected by other humans, not drones. The cost of their maintenance and newer models would add up quickly. Malfunctions could occur and cause many innocent lives to be taken. This is why using drones in the place of U.S. soldiers would be a huge mistake.
