Should Astronaut Have To Colonize Mars?
=Astronauts want to colonize Mars even though they would have to leave Earth forever. Although colonizing Mars would be a huge scientific discovery and help us in many ways, it should not be colonized. Astronauts should not colonize Mars as they would be losing everything like Earth, food, and money.
All four of the astronauts that could go and try to colonize Mars on the Mars One Mission cannot ever come back to Earth. The people would have to leave everyone and everywhere they have ever known to venture out to a place where no one has ever been before. Talking to their friends and family in real time is impossible considering the big time difference. There is almost no oxygen on Mars, so the people planning on going there can never go

He provides a reason to have space exploration be done in America by saying that the space research would be of substantial benefit to understand how a man’s relation is with the environment. For example, he states that the examination of the astronaut’s physical, mental, and emotional reactions could teach us the differences between normal and abnormal, effects of disorientation, and about the changes in metabolism which may result in a longer life span. Kennedy also believes that studying the effects on the astronauts about toxic gases in the environment and to find ways to reduce the toxicity. With all of this research, the toxicity of the gases on earth would be reduced to let the citizens become safe and breathe freely. By providing this piece of evidence it would allow for scientists to become interested in finding ways to help the earth through space research.…

Space exploration is the discovery and exploration of outer space by the means of space technology. This means that useful and resourceful discoveries are being made every time that we send up humans into space. Over the years, space exploration has expanded technology to great heights, helped create new industries, and help create a peaceful relationship between nations. Space Biology is another huge reason why we should keep space exploration. NASA laboratories lead to new technologies that improve astronaut health and monitoring, while making scientific discoveries that benefit life on Earth. Another amazing that thing that space exploration has done for people on Earth is help make huge strides in the continuing development of artificial limbs. These are for people who have lost either an arm or leg and NASA has helped develop artificial muscle for a flexible robotic arm! Now, I am going to discuss three main topics about why we should keep space exploration. They are Economic, Ethical, and Environmental.…

It allows humans to acquire different forms of data such as solar waves, meteor showers, and even for us to see stars die. Space is like a massive vacuum that has no oxygen so if a person gets caught in space without a spacesuit and supporting equipment they will die. Astronauts can also have complications adjusting to the harsh environments that are experienced on the moon and other planets, which is unhealthy and can be life threatening (apecsec.org). Often times, an astronaut will also experience sickness such as nausea while traveling through the atmosphere to reach orbit. Another health risk is caused by easier exposure to UV rays from the sun which can cause a variety of cancers to the human body. There is also risk of an unknown diseases being attracted while traveling through the atmosphere (occupytheory.org). Along with the great dangers of space exploration, it also comes at a very high financial…

Establishing a colony on mars is not an option, it is a necessity. Clearly, the next logical step for our race is to expand out into the stars, into the unknown. The Human race has to put more effort and resources into space exploration. It is in our deep underlying nature to explore, we are a curious animal that wants to discover all it can, we just need the tools to do so. We need the next Christopher Columbus, we need someone with the drive and will to explore the unknown.…

But, why even try for this when the trip is very expensive. In the article, “The Cost of Space Exploration,” it states, “It is about $10,000 to put a pound of anything into a near earth orbit.” If it $10,000 to just put one pound into near-earth orbit, then why do we think we should go way past near-earth orbit all the way to Mars? $10,000 per pound is expensive enough, let's not push that price way further. To conclude, we should not waste valuable resources on a trip as expensive as…

I can only imagine what it would be like traveling to space. It is not something I sit around and think about doing. Those who had the pleasures of going to space, like the astronauts, are those who had been preparing for such a career. This does not make me want to go to space, going to space is like dying and going to the other side, you just do not know what to expect. Science tells us that space is like a never ending hole. This sounds a little creepy, but space really is not all that scary, it is quite amazing actually. Science tells us that space is a galaxy with many stars, planets, and rocks. However, I am against civilians in space because civilians are inexperienced and the cost can become extremely high.…

The voyage to Mars is very risky, who knows what could happen. This mission could be like the Challenger Space Shuttle of January, 1986. This mission was highly prepared for just similar to the Mission to Mars coming in 2040. This mission would have made history by becoming the first space mission that had a teacher on board. Her name was Christa McAuliffe. The reason why she was on this mission was because she won a challenge everybody signed up for to be part of the mission. The explosion that prevented this mission from…

What does a planet need to have in order to support life? Earth is unique in our solar system because it is the only planet that is supporting life. Some scientists go so far as to say that the Earth is a “perfect planet” because it has features that are the perfect environment for living organisms; these features include our atmosphere, water, and a single moon. Earth is also in a place in our solar system where the Sun gives off the right amount of energy to drive the life. The distance from the Earth to the Sun determines how much of that heat we receive. If it weren’t for our ozone layer and Earth’s magnetic field, harmful rays would penetrate our surface and life would be exterminated. Everything the Earth has to offer us is balanced perfectly to keep life continuous.…
