Athena counts down from 5, and as soon as the doors open, Papa Bastion got behind Reinhardt's Shield and Roadhog’s fat sweaty hands on his hook to grab people into bastions range. Lucio speed boosted Tracer and 76 out of the door and looked for the three nerds thinking that they wouldn't be in spawn.
They looked around until they finally looked at the enemy spawn to see where they were and, Roadhog snatches Tracer but Roadhog missed his shot and tracer recalled back and got a little bit of damage off of Reinhardt. Lucio healed Tracer and 76 was getting a few hits off of the three scrubs and got his ultimate. 76 said “I've gochu in my sights ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°),” he was shooting Reinhardt and he was eliminated. Tracer also got her ultimate and blinked in and threw her pulse bomb and said, “Time‘s up!” She had killed Papa Bastion but Roadhog survived and hooked 76 and tracer got in the way and took the shot for him. Almost always, a movie based on a book is shortened and distorted from its original book to appeal more audiences since a movie appeals more to popular, general audiences. It is no exception for Powwow Highway, written by David Seals and was later made in movie. One of perspective review article, Easin’s on Down the Powwow Highway(s), by Rodney Simard focuses on difference between the film and original novel. It reveals several important points: intensification of Indian stereotype, westernized women roles and the main plot. Although Simard praises the actors’ actions, he criticizes that the movie westernized and reduced characters into stereotype characters by intentional omission and distortions while transforming the original novel to a movie of pop culture’s.…

The recent summer rainstorms have transformed the roadways, of Wrongberight a rural hamlet on the eastern shores of Virginia, into a never-ending slip and slide. Late Saturday afternoon, vivacious Clemmy Sue Jarvis, a petite woman of sixty three, cautiously pulled out of her driveway, and slowly turned south on to Flat Bottom Road. She maneuvered the rain soaked road with great care. Nevertheless, fifty yards from her dearest friend Estelle Louise’s long dirt driveway, her rusty Chevy pickup, that she has kept mobile for years with hairpins, bubble gum, and duct tape, skidded across a massive oil slick. As a result, the pickup spins in wide circles as…

In Cormac McCarthy’s book The Road, a father and his son try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where the majority of people have turned to cannibalism and the environment is twisted and dark. Despite their being glimpses of hope and the Son being showed as the next Messiah, a message of hope could in no way be conveyed in the book. The book is depressing, sad, and makes readers feel grateful for what they have and that they do not have to go through what the protagonists face everyday day.…

What would you do if you had lost everything? Everything and everyone you had ever loved was gone due to tragedy. The world is gloomy and ashened. The term ‘society’ is no longer a familiar word. People have regrouped in clan like packs and you are alone. When the world has fallen apart what do you hold on to? The book ‘The Road’ by Cormac McCarthy faces a similar situation. Most have already lost their humanity, however, some strive to keep what it left of what they used to be. Putting all of the gruesome sights of heads on sticks and cannibals aside, there are truly some individuals trying to keep their hearts warm and whole. The boy and his attempts to help the helpless, the father and his struggle to stay alive, and the family at the end of the novel are all acts of the struggle of humanity.…

We were almost through the state of North Carolina as we traveled on Interstate 95. It was rush hour and you could tell everyone was antsy and excited to get home. Cars traveled at 80 miles per hour, and some were even traveling faster than that. I could now see why it was ranked the fifth worst highway in North America. Cars were weaving in and out of traffic at over 90 miles per hour. Traffic was getting heavy. Listening to the radio, my dad and I sang along to a familiar song we both knew, “Yeah” by Usher. “Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!”, we both sang while he drove. My dad always loved this song, so we had the radio turned almost all the way up. The song ended and we turned the radio down. We had already been on the road for ten hours so we were beginning to get a little tired. It was almost 5:00 in the evening and we did not eat lunch, so we were both getting hungry as well. “Where do you want to stop for dinner?”, I asked him. My dad looked at the food signs next to the highway as I looked up places on my phone where we could grab a bite. Just as I was about to name off a few places where we could go, my phone flew out of my hand and my head jolted forward.…

They also hire Tifa as their guide throughout Mt. Nibel. At the reactor with Sephiroth & Zack, they find out that the monsters ARE being created at the reactor. Sephiroth then goez crazy, thinking he was created like this. He goes into the old Shinra mansion, locking himself in the basement library and trying to figure out his past ^^;; Soon, Sephiroth finds out the truth; that he was one of Hojo's experiments, and he's the son of Jenova and blah. This is the point where Sephiroth like goez insane ^^; He burns down Nibelheim the next day, kills Tifa's dad, slashes Tifa, almost kills Zack, and heads to the reactor to free Jenova (she's being kept here if I didn't mention that). However, since Cloud has some Jenova cells in him, even if Sephiroth pokes a sword through him, he doesn't die. He throws Sephiroth into some water-stuff in the reactor (hurray!). Afterwards, Cloud hands Tifa to Zangan (irk, forgot his name!) and Zack & Cloud run out of the reactor before Shinra catches up with them (they're pretty angry at them for killing their elite soldier Sephiroth ^^;). Cloud is pretty weak (I would be, too, if a sword was stabbed through me), and Zack and him head to…

The sun is setting as you put your car in drive, pulling out into bumper to bumper traffic. As you sit with a pounding headache trying to decompress from just another day, praying there will be a break in traffic so you can get home. Juggling work, school, and family is hard, and just think, you get to do it all again tomorrow. The bottled up traffic is beginning to clear, if you could just pass the car in front of you, you’ll be home in no time. You turn your head and glance to the side before pulling out to pass the car in front. Looks like smooth sailing from this point, so you flip on your turn signal, merge into the other lane, and begin to accelerate. As you pass the other car, the other driver veers into your lane,…
